Chord Music Partners was founded in 2021 by investment companies KKR and Dundee Partners, and its portfolio includes music by notable artists such as The Weeknd, Ryan Tedder, and John Legend. Last year, UMG acquired a 25.8% stake in Chord Music Partners, with KKR retaining the remaining ownership.

The catalog also includes hit singles like "Last Night" and "Whiskey Glasses", as well as music from other notable artists such as Hardy and Ernest.
