The arrest was made after cameras, vehicles, and other equipment were seized. Badung police claimed Blue and the group were playing a sex game where the “winner would sleep with Bonnie Blue.” However, a local news outlet in Bali reported that “no pornographic activities or acts were found in the collaborative content.”
The Outcome
Although headlines suggested she could face up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to $541,000, Blue was instead fined just $20 for a traffic violation. She was notorious for using a Bangbus vehicle without proper registration. Following the trial, Blue was deported from the island.
Reaction and Response
During her time in Bali, footage and photos showed the sex worker’s unconventional behavior during the trial, such as arriving at court laughing and interacting with onlookers while sucking on a lollipop. Now back in the UK, Blue spoke out about the ordeal, telling the press: "I’m rich and have good lawyers – did you really think I would face a prison sentence?" She expressed excitement to show people "what got me into all this trouble" and joked that she needed to "make up for" her "huge losses" from the $20 fine.

Blue teased that she would show fans "the whole story" about what really happened in Bali. In her first Instagram video since the incident, she claimed she was conned by the woman who organized her Bali tour, to whom she paid $150,000 for the trip. She stated that the organizer took a lot of the money and then reported her to the police. Blue seems to have already started sharing her side of the story, promising to reveal more details about her experience in Bali.
