2025 Fashion Awards in London
The 2025 Fashion Awards took place in London, with stars wearing a variety of outfits, including silk, mesh, and monochrome.
Celebrity Appearances
Ellie Goulding, 38, appeared to announce her pregnancy in an all-black ensemble that put her bump in focus. The "Love Me Like You Do" singer wore a cropped top paired with oversized pleated capris and a loose trench coat that she wore loosely over her shoulders. Paired with sharp black stilettos and a chunky cross pendant, it was arguably a relaxed yet refreshing take on maternity wear.
Kylie Minogue epitomized boho-chic in a white asymmetric-hem top and skirt by Loewe and strappy sandals by Gianvito Rossi. The 57-year-old Australian singer completed her look with curtain bangs and soft beach waves.
Sienna Miller, 43, followed suit in a sheer white mesh dress from Givenchy. The actress completed the look with blush feather shoes and large dangling earrings, as well as subtle makeup.
Lily Allen, 40, appeared in a buttery-soft vintage silk dress with ruffled sleeves and coral silk shoes. The West End Girls singer sported a sweeping train and lace trim across her chest and back.
Fashion Trends
The Fashion Awards were first held in 1989 and were known as the British Fashion Awards until they were renamed in 2016. They have evolved in both title and tone. This year’s carpet opted for an unexpected shade of blue, sparking speculation ranging from a nod to David Lynch’s Blue Velvet to the more practical question of camouflaging London grime – although no one, it seems, can quite explain the switch from red.
The move echoes the Met Gala’s own flirtation with a blue floral runway earlier this year, suggesting a chromatic trend may be brewing. The event will be held again at the Royal Albert Hall in 2025 and will be hosted by Bafta and Oscar-nominated actor Colman Domingo, whose eccentric style has landed him on countless best-dressing rounds, making him the perfect choice.
More Celebrity Looks
Amanda Holden, 54, was accompanied by her daughter Alexa Hughes, 19, who both wore textured silk for the occasion. Hughes wore a deep green column dress with a scattered bejeweled mesh skirt. Holden wore a daring strapless silk dress by Italian designer Celia Kritharioti with an open thong corset and pleat.
Louise Rednapp, 51, like many on the carpet, also opted for mesh and wore a sheer, high-neck black dress by Alaïa. Rednapp accessorized with sculptural gold bangles and an elegant side part.
Singer Raye wore a long-sleeved pearl white off-the-shoulder dress with a silk skirt and diamond-studded top from Ferrari Style – a fashion initiative by the Italian car manufacturer. The 28-year-old opted for an Old Hollywood-inspired bob with a side part.
Irish presenter Laura Whitmore, 40, followed suit in an ivory silk Vivienne Westwood dress with scarlet accents and an oatmeal and purple checked cape. Strictly Come Dancing star Vicky Pattison, 38, wore a sculptural ivory Rami Al Ali dress from the Syrian designer’s Autumn/Winter 2026 couture collection.
Billie Piper also opted for bright silk monochrome, wearing a vintage silver Dolce & Gabbana dress from the Italian designer’s Fall/Winter 1998 collection. The 43-year-old English actress paired the dress with a pearl cross choker and a swept side fringe – a hair trend that’s dominating the carpet.
