The findings indicate that poor fit (43 percent) and inconsistent sizing (36 percent), along with cost (50 percent) and quality (50 percent), are among the biggest deterrents to purchasing a fashion item from a brand or retailer.

While cost and quality are traditionally considered crucial factors, the impact of poor fit and inconsistent sizing should not be underestimated. Brands and retailers that fail to address these issues may be inadvertently driving away customers, ultimately affecting their sales and revenue.
