Introduction to the Incident

The Atlanta police authority has made an arrest in connection with a car robbery involving Beyoncé. The stolen material includes unpublished music from the singer, film plans for her live show, and earlier and upcoming set lists.

The Investigation

The investigators from the Atlanta police Auto Unit led the investigation, which resulted in the arrest of suspect Kelvin Evans on August 26th. According to the Hapeville PD, they received an arrest warrant for the suspect in July, and Evans was apprehended in Fulton County’s prison weeks later. However, the stolen items have not been recovered at this point.

The Theft

The suspect allegedly broke into a rental car on July 8 and stole suitcases belonging to Beyoncé’s choreographer, Christopher Grant, and dancer, Diandre Blue. The theft occurred while Beyoncé was in the city for four appointments at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium as part of her Cowboy Carter Tour.

The Police Report

In a call published by the Atlanta police department, the incident was reported with the following description: "You have my computers, and it is really important information there. I work with someone who has a high status, and I really need my computer and everything." According to this call, Grant and Blue reported that the window had been smashed to gain access to the trunk of a Jeep Wagoneer.

Aftermath

The arrest warrant against the alleged suspect was issued on July 14th. The Cowboy Carter Tour ended on July 26th in Paradise, Nevada, with a total of thirty-two concerts and a 40-song set list per night. The incident highlights the importance of security measures to protect sensitive information and property, especially for high-profile individuals like Beyoncé.
