Introduction to Rock N Roll Circus

Festival goers were already in the front row at 5:00 a.m. to see McFly on the first day of the new music and circus festival. More than 7,000 people flocked to Earlham Park in Norwich at the start of Rock N Roll Circus. The festival started on Thursday and runs until Saturday, with around 20,000 music fans expected over the three days.

Fans’ Enthusiasm

Among the fans in the front row was Jan Mulder, 30, who said: "It’s nice to be able to enjoy something on site and not have to travel miles." He had only made a 30-minute trip to the festival, although some committed McFly fans had been there since much earlier. Jan said: "I started this morning from 11 a.m. … I like the barrier part, I like to bring the energy into the front row and I like something I leaned against. You have been there since I was a little nipper … regardless of whether you are a fan or not. You are just incredible live."

McFly’s Performance

Pop-rockers McFly, consisting of Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Harry Judd, and Dougie Poynter, rose to fame in 2004 and had hits including "All About You", "Star Girl", and "Five Colours in Her Hair". Their performance at the Rock N Roll Circus was highly anticipated, and fans were eager to see them live.

Dedicated Fans

Connie Stephens, 30, from London, was one of the first in the queue and arrived at 4:45 a.m. She said: "This will be my 170th McFly concert. I’ve seen them since I was eight years old. I am very excited. They helped me through some really difficult times, and they are really the most beautiful boys ever." Some fans even traveled from abroad to see their favorite band, including Laura Hadzopoulos, 28, a finalist at the Miss Universe Switzerland, who traveled from Switzerland to attend the festival.

International Attendance

Laura said: "I love the group, and I wanted to see McFly personally … I traveled from Switzerland to be here … I loved it. We traveled yesterday and visited my sister. It’s a beautiful city here." The festival’s international recognition and the presence of renowned circus artists made it an attractive event for people from all over the world.

The Festival Experience

The Rock N Roll Circus festival offers a unique experience, combining music and circus performances. It is the first time the festival has come to Norwich, and fans were excited to experience it. With its diverse lineup and exciting performances, the festival is expected to be a huge success, attracting music and circus enthusiasts from all over the country.
