Marayah Carey has shared the release date for her upcoming 16th album, Here for Everything, which is set to drop on September 26th. The news was announced on her Instagram, where she also shared a sneak peek of herself singing a snippet of the album’s title track.
Background and Inspiration
Carey’s last album, Caution, was released in 2018 and debuted at number 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. Since then, she has been working on new music, and in June, she announced that she had signed a multi-album deal with Larry Jackson’s independent music company, Gamma.

The lead single from the album, “Type Dangerous”, was released and debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking Carey’s first appearance on the chart since 2017. The song was written in collaboration with Anderson .paak and features a cameo appearance by Mr. Beast in the music video, which was directed by Joseph Kahn.
