Production on HBO’s new Harry Potter series is currently underway at the Warner Bros Studios in Great Britain. A first look at Dominic McLaughlin as a magician with the same name has been revealed.

The latest round of casting announcements includes Rory Wilmot as Neville Longbottom, Amos Kitson as Dudley Dursley, Louise Brealey as Madam Rolanda Hooch, and Anton Lesser as Garrick Ollivander. They will be joining the previously announced cast members, including Arabella Stanton and Alastair Stout as Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, along with John Lithgow, Nick Frost, Janet McTeer, and Paapa Essedu.

The series is set to debut on HBO and HBO Max in 2027. Francesca Gardiner will be serving as the showrunner and executive producer, while Mark Mylod will also be an executive producer and will direct some of the episodes. The series is a collaboration between HBO, Brontë Film and TV, and Warner Bros. Television, with J.K. Rowling, Neil Blair, Ruth Kenley-Lets, and David Heyman all on board as executive producers.
