BTS Reunites After Military Service
BTS members reunited last weekend after completing their mandatory military service. The reunion was celebrated with an annual event called "Festa," which took place over two weeks with personal and online activities. According to reports, the event attracted 60,000 visitors.
Festa Celebration
The 2025 BTS Festa was a grand celebration, featuring approximately 20 cabins with DIY activities, photo booths, and more. The photo zones were installed at Goyang’s Ilsan Lake Park. Fans of the group, known as the "Army," gathered at the Intex exhibition center 2 in Goyang, South Korea, on June 13th and 14th to participate in the festivities.
J-Hope’s Solo World Tour
The celebration coincided with the conclusion of J-Hope’s solo world tour, "Hope on the Bühne." The tour ended with a two-night encounter concert, where all seven BTS members were present on the first night. Jin and Jung Kook joined J-Hope on stage to perform solo songs, including "Don’t Say You Love Me" and "Seven (feat. Latto)," as well as! BTS songs like "Jamaais Vu" with J-Hope.
Military Service Update
The reunion marked the end of a busy week for the group, as members RM, V, Jimin, and Jung Kook were released from their mandatory military service earlier in the week. They joined J-Hope and Jin, while Suga is currently completing his mandatory military service as a social work staff member. Although Suga was able to participate with his group members, he has not been officially released. Bighit Music announced that Suga’s service is nearing completion, and he will soon be released.
Fans’ Anticipation
Fans of the group have been eagerly waiting for their return, despite each member’s success with their solo work over the past two years. In October 2022, BTS performed a massive free concert in Busan, South Korea, which drew fans from all over the world. After the concert, Bighit Music announced that all seven members would be fulfilling their military service, stating that it was "the perfect time" and that the members were honored to serve. The fans’ long wait is finally over, and they can look forward to new music and performances from the reunited group.
