LVMH Innovation Award Winners Announced

The LVMH Group has announced the winners of the ninth LVMH innovation price, which was divided into three prizes. The awards were presented at a ceremony in Paris during the Tech conference Vivatech.

The Most Promising Price

The most promising price went to the French startup Omi, a studio that uses 3D models to create high-quality visuals at reduced costs. Omi has previously worked with Guerlain, an LVMH-owned brand. According to Hugo Borenscence, co-founder and CEO of OMI, "Cooperation with a maison expressed LVMH’s brave, innovation-inspired vision two centuries ago with the most advanced 3D and artificial intelligence technologies."

Partnership with L’Oréal Group

On the same day, the L’Oréal Group and Omi announced a partnership, demonstrating a new design process with the latest functions of the startup during Vivatech. Borenscence emphasized that "since online retail is more competitive, speed and quality have become critical in product visuals."

Best Business Award

The US Customer Intelligence company Kahoona won the best business award for its solution that promotes corporate growth and operational transformation most effectively. Kahoona, under the direction of CEO Gal Rapoport, focuses on personalization technologies for e-commerce.

Best Impact Price

The best impact price was awarded to Genesis for its cooperation with Moët Hennessy, the wines and spirits department of the LVMH group. Genesis has developed a digital instrument to measure, monitor, and improve the health of the soil. According to Adrienne de Malleray, CEO of Genesis, "Genesis illuminates the mysterious, but absolutely essential world, which is literally hidden under our feet – the soil – to ensure the sustainability of raw materials, from grapes to cotton."

About the LVMH Innovation Award

The LVMH innovation award recognizes technology companies that shape the future of the luxury and fashion industry. Previous winners include the generative AI startup FancyTech and the repair platform SAVE YOUR WORDEROBE (SYW), a company that combines business representatives with tailors, cobblers, and restorers to repair clothing, shoes, jewelry, and bags.

Importance of Innovation

According to Bernard Arnault, LVMH chair, "Innovation has always supplied the growth of our companies and their desirability with energy. This innovation is not an end in itself, but a means of achieving outstanding achievements." He expressed his happiness in meeting young entrepreneurs and seeing them work with centuries-old maison, recognizing their entrepreneurship.
