Introduction to Yungblud’s Latest Music Video

Florence Pugh, the Oscar-nominated actor, has taken on a new role in Yungblud’s music video for his latest track, "Zombie". In the video, Pugh plays a medical specialist who is struggling to balance her personal and professional life. Meanwhile, Yungblud sings about numbing his pain and slipping into a zombie-like state, with Pugh’s character reflecting the emotions in his lyrics.

The Music Video

The video, which was released on Friday, shows Pugh’s character dealing with the demands of her job and personal life. Yungblud’s lyrics, such as "Oh, I know that I can’t live without you / but this world will continue to turn if you do it / would you even want me to look like a zombie? / Would you want me at all, want me, want me?" are brought to life by Pugh’s emotional performance. The video takes a dramatic turn when angel wings appear on Pugh’s shoulders at the end.

The Meaning Behind the Song

Yungblud explained that "Zombie" was initially written about his grandmother, who suffered from serious injuries and trauma that changed her personality. The song is about the feeling of deterioration and ugliness, and how the world and the people we love can become a burden. Yungblud said, "It is about the feeling of deterioration and ugliness; the world and the people we love to become a burden, a burden or embarrassment. We all want someone or something to comfort us, no matter how we are or who we will be in the future. But it is damn scary."

Florence Pugh’s Recent Projects

Pugh has been busy with her recent projects, including the latest edition of the MCU, where she played a lead role in Thunderbolts. She starred alongside Sebastian Stan, David Harbor, Hannah John-Kamen, Olga Kurylenko, Wyatt Russell, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus as part of an "unconventional team from Antheros".

The Music Video Production

The music video was directed by Charlie Sarsfield and produced by Untold Studios as part of Yungblud’s upcoming album, Idol. "Zombie" is the third release from the record, following "Lovesick Lullaby" and "Hello Himmel, Hello". The album, Idol, is set to be released on June 20 by Locomotion/Capitol Recordings.

Upcoming Tour

Yungblud will be embarking on his Idol’s World Tour this summer, starting on August 23 in Los Angeles. Fans can expect to hear his new music, including "Zombie", live on stage.
