Introduction to Hocus Pocus 3

Bette Midler’s Update on Hocus Pocus 3
More than two years after Bailey’s announcement, Bette Midler, who plays one of the three Sanderson sisters, opened up to Andy Cohen on See What’s Happening Live that she saw a script for Hocus Pocus 3. "Well, you know, they sent a script and a lot of it was brilliant," she said when asked if there will be a third film. “So I was very excited.”

Midler added, "And now we’re trying to figure out what it is and where it’s going to be and how much it’s going to cost and all these logistical things." The production team is working on finalizing the details, and fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the third installment.
Success of Hocus Pocus 2
Hocus Pocus 2 was a real hit for Disney+, notably setting a record for an opening weekend for a film on a streamer at the time (with 2.7 billion minutes watched). Overall, the film also landed in 6th place among the most streamed films of 2022 with 5.7 billion minutes viewed.
The Cast and Crew
The First Wives Club star directed the first two films alongside Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy. Kenny Ortega directed the original film, and Anne Fletcher directed the film Hocus Pocus 2. Fletcher is expected to return for Hocus Pocus 3 alongside Jen D’Angelo, who wrote the 2022 sequel.
