Local Artists Invited to Showcase Their Work

The Beverley Art Gallery is hosting an open exhibition, and local artists are invited to submit their work. According to Hannah Willetts, the curator of the gallery, this is "a wonderful opportunity for artists to share their talents". The exhibition is open to a variety of styles and media, giving artists the freedom to express themselves in their unique way.

Submission Guidelines

Artists who wish to participate must submit their entries by September 13th. The submissions will then be reviewed, and the final selection will be exhibited in the exhibition room of the Beverley Art Gallery, located in the Champney Treasure House. This is a great chance for local artists to gain exposure and showcase their work to a wider audience.

People’s Choice Award

Visitors to the gallery will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite work in the People’s Choice Award. This allows the community to engage with the artwork and have a say in which piece they think is the most outstanding. The award is a great way to encourage audience participation and make the exhibition more interactive.

Registration and More Information

For artists who are interested in submitting their work, registration forms can be downloaded from the East Riding Museum desk on the first floor of the Champney Treasure House. More information about the open art exhibition can be found by visiting the East Riding Museums website. Additionally, those who want to stay updated on local news and events can tune in to Hull and East Yorkshire on BBC sounds or watch the latest episode of Look North.
