Atheart, the first girl group from Titan Content, has made a strong first impression in the world of K-Pop. The group, founded and trained by experienced music director Katie Kang, has released their first EP, "Plot Twist", a five-track pop album that includes a main single of the same name and a previously published single "Good Girl (Athart)".
The Group’s Formation
Atheart consists of members Michi, Seohyeon, Aurora, Katelyn, Bome, Arin, and Nahyun, who come from diverse backgrounds, including Korea, Japan, the Philippines, and the USA. The 18-year-old Michi was the first member to be recruited by Kang and Titan during a global audition in Hawaii. Kang focused on various aspects of training to prepare Atheart for their debut, including singing, dancing, and mental training to cope with the pressures of a career in K-pop.
Debut and Music Style
The group’s debut track, "Plot Twist", showcases the emotions and confusion that people of their age experience when faced with unexpected events. The members were thrilled to work with Sooyoung, who they consider a role model, and appreciated her advice and support. Nahyun mentioned that she is inspired by Jang Wonyoung from IVE, who she admires for her passion and persistence. Arin, on the other hand, is inspired by Jennie from Blackpink, who she sees as a role model for her determination and hard work.
Training and Preparation
The group’s training for their debut was intense, with constant practice and rehearsals.
