Hallmark and Grand Ole Opry Partnership

Hallmark has announced a new partnership with the Grand Ole Opry, a collaboration that will bring a touch of country music to the holiday season. As part of this partnership, Hallmark will premiere an original holiday film, "A Grand Ole Opry Christmas", starring Nikki Deloach and Kristoffer Polaha, during their 16th annual countdown program. The film will feature well-known faces from the Opry, making it a must-watch for country music fans.

Celebrating 100 Years of the Grand Ole Opry

The partnership comes at a perfect time, as the Grand Ole Opry celebrates its 100th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, country singer and Opry member Brad Paisley will write and perform original music for the film. He will also record the official theme song for Hallmark’s "Countdown to Christmas" on-air campaign.

A Heartwarming Holiday Film

According to Darren Abbott, Chief Brand Officer at Hallmark, "A Grand Ole Opry Christmas" is a heartwarming story that will become an instant classic. The film tells the story of Gentry Woods, the daughter of a late country music icon, who is invited to represent her father at the Grand Ole Opry’s 100th anniversary celebration. With the help of some Christmas magic, Gentry finds creative inspiration, precious time with her father, and surprising answers to questions she has had for decades.

Exclusive Opry Products

As part of the partnership, Hallmark will launch an exclusive collection of Opry products, including greeting cards, clothing, accessories, jewelry, and gifts. This collection will be available later this year, just in time for the holiday season.

Bringing Country Music to a Global Audience

Colin Reed, Executive Chairman of Ryman Hospitality Properties, the parent company of the Opry, says that the goal of this partnership is to bring the Opry, its artists, and the rich traditions of country music to a global audience. With Hallmark’s help, the Opry hopes to share its unique sound and spirit with more people around the world.

A Special Holiday Treat

Brad Paisley, who is involved in the project, says that Hallmark Channel is an essential part of his holiday tradition. He adds that the films are very inspiring and that he is excited to be a part of this project. With its unique blend of country music, heartwarming storytelling, and holiday magic, "A Grand Ole Opry Christmas" is sure to be a special holiday treat for audiences of all ages.
