Introduction to Ed Sheeran’s New Music Video

Ed Sheeran has released a new music video for his song "A Little More", featuring Rupert Grint, a well-known actor from the Harry Potter series. This collaboration is not the first time the two have worked together, as Grint also appeared in Sheeran’s music video for "Lego House" 14 years ago.

The Music Video Concept

In the new music video, Grint plays a character who is obsessed with Ed Sheeran. He sees Sheeran everywhere he goes, from advertising boards to the gym, TV, and even in a movie. The character’s obsession reaches its peak when he is about to get married, and the bride turns into Ed Sheeran at the altar.

Song Lyrics and Meaning

The lyrics of "A Little More" talk about a past relationship that has gone sour. The song’s lyrics say, "I loved you earlier, now I hate you that you have become a little more every day than I lost you, but every day I hate you a little and more / fault in your story and say that it is not your fault / I cannot call you crazy because you could be diagnosed." The song seems to be about the pain and anger that follows a breakup.

Behind-the-Scenes and Reactions

After releasing the music video, Sheeran shared a clip on Instagram, thanking Grint for being part of the project. He wrote, "I hadn’t worked with @rpertgrint since Lego House. So I didn’t know if he would say yes to this idea. But I’m so happy that he did it. It is so much fun, Boncher’s video. Longest video shoot that I had ever done at the time, and Deffo the most costume change." He also encouraged his fans to create their own videos using the song, aimed at their exes.

Upcoming Album and Fan Engagement

Sheeran’s eighth studio album, "Play", which features the song "A Little More", is set to be released on September 12th. The singer has been engaging with his fans on social media, thanking them for their overwhelming response to the song and video. He has also invited fans to get creative and make their own videos using the song, promising to watch them all. With the release of his new album approaching, fans are eagerly waiting to see what other surprises Sheeran has in store for them.
