Metallica’s Exclusive Concert and New Music Channel
Metallica is set to perform a special club concert on Thursday, August 28, to celebrate the launch of "Maximum Metallica", a new music channel on SiriusXM. The concert will take place at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, Long Island.
The Concert and Channel Launch
The channel officially starts the following day, August 29, on Channel 42 and the SiriusXM app. A recording of the show will be premiered on the following Monday, September 1st, at 12 p.m.
Announcement and Ticket Opportunity
The announcement was made by drummer Lars Ulrich on SiriusXM’s "Howard Stern Show" on Wednesday morning. SiriusXM subscribers and fans can participate in a chance to attend the concert, sponsored by Hertz, by visiting the official SiriusXM website. The full concert will also be broadcast on Friday, September 5th at 7:00 p.m. ET and PT on Howard Stern’s channel, Howard 101.

The channel, dubbed "The Most Metallica Anywhere", will feature a wide range of content, including hits, deep cuts, live shows, and behind-the-scenes stories. Fans can also expect rare recordings, exclusive interviews, and surprises curated by the band members themselves.
