Introduction to the Toronto International Film Festival
The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) has announced its lineup, featuring a diverse range of films from around the world. This year’s selection includes 19 world premieres, showcasing the best of international cinema.
World Premieres
Some of the notable world premieres include Jan Komasas’ kidnap drama "Good boy", starring Stephen Graham and Andrea Rishborough; Kirk Jones’ Tourette’s biopic "I swear", featuring Robert Aramayo and Peter Mullan; and Jitank Singh Gurjar’s Indian family drama "Looking for heaven". The festival will also feature several films that premiered at Venice, including Pietro Marcello’s "Worn", which will have its international premiere at TIFF; Lazlo Nemes’ "Orphan", which will have its North American premiere; and Stillz’s "Sad neighborhood", which was part of the Venice Horizons selection.

Additionally, the lineup includes several films that premiered at Berlin, including Richard Linklater’s "Blue moon" and Madeleine Sims-Fewer and Dusty Mancinelli’s "Honey Bunch".
