Stevie Nicks Postpones Tour Dates Due to Injury
Stevie Nicks has announced that she will be postponing her upcoming tour dates in August and September due to a broken shoulder that requires sufficient recovery time. The news was unveiled on Nicks’ Instagram account, where the new dates for the rescheduled shows were also announced.
The Reason Behind the Postponement
According to the post, Nicks recently suffered an injury that led to a broken shoulder, which requires a significant amount of time to recover. As a result, her planned concerts in August and September will be postponed. However, the shows scheduled for October will go on as planned. Nicks apologized to her fans for the inconvenience and expressed her excitement to see them soon.
Rescheduled Tour Dates
Tickets for the original dates will be honored at the newly rescheduled performances. Nicks was originally supposed to play nine dates in August and September, including shows at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and the TD Garden in Boston. The new tour dates will take place from late October to mid-December.
Upcoming Album Release
In other news, Nicks and her Fleetwood Mac bandmate Lindsey Buckingham recently announced that their legendary album "Buckingham Nicks" will be re-released in all formats on September 19. The album, which was originally released in 1973, has been out of stock in the US since the early 1980s.
