Demi Lovato’s Latest Music Venture

Demi Lovato is back and ready to take the music world by storm. The former children’s star has dropped her latest single, "Almost," which is the first track from her upcoming ninth studio album. This new release marks a return to pop music for Lovato, who had previously explored the rock genre in her last recording, "Saint FVCK."

The New Single: "Almost"

Lovato teased "Almost" on social media earlier this month before officially announcing its release. In a mid-July Instagram video, she shared snippets of the song’s lyrics, singing: "Because baby is honest, I just want to feel your hands about me / again and again where you want to be / even if it is only for tonight." The song’s accompanying music video features Lovato performing with a choir, singing: "I want to go quickly / I want to go hard / I want to go wherever you are."

Collaboration and Inspiration

The single "Almost" is part of Lovato’s ninth album, which is being executive-produced by music producer Zhone. Zhone has worked with notable artists such as Kesha, Troye Sivan, and Charli XCX. In a statement, Zhone expressed her excitement about working with Lovato, saying: "It was so inspiring to work with Demi and experience their journey to improve. She is such a master in the studio. This album is about letting go, and we had so much fun making this music! It really comes across everywhere."

Recent Projects and Personal Life

Lovato’s latest release comes after she published a revised version of her extensive discography, featuring remixed and revised tracks. She also made her directorial debut with the documentary "Child Star," which explores the ups and downs of growing up in the spotlight. The documentary features interviews with famous former child stars, including Drew Barrymore, Jojo Siwa, and Christina Ricci. In her personal life, Lovato recently tied the knot with Jordan "Jutes" Lutes at the beginning of this year.

What’s Next for Demi Lovato?

With the release of "Almost" and her upcoming ninth album, Demi Lovato is poised to make a significant impact on the music scene. Fans can expect a new sound and style from the singer, who is known for her versatility and creativity. As Lovato continues to explore new musical genres and collaborate with talented producers, her fans can look forward to exciting new releases and performances in the coming months.
