Seventeen’s New World Tour
Seventeen, the popular K-Pop super group, has announced that they are embarking on a new world tour. The 13-member group, which is currently performing with 11 members, will kick off their tour on September 13th in Incheon, South Korea.
Tour Dates and Locations
The group will perform in various cities around the world, including Tacoma, Washington, Austin, and Sunrise, Florida. They will have multiple-night performances in some of these cities, giving fans ample opportunity to see them live. The tour will take the group to different parts of the globe, showcasing their music and talent to a diverse audience.
Celebrating 10 Years Together
The tour, named "New_", marks a new chapter in the group’s history, which celebrated 10 years together in May. The group members, including S. Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, the 8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino, have been working together for a decade, producing music that has captivated fans worldwide. Their latest album, "Happy Burstday", was a huge success, selling over 2.52 million copies in its first week.
A New Path Forward
In a recent interview, the group expressed their desire to reinvent themselves and explore new paths. "We are ready to reinvent ourselves," they said. "We are standing on a new starting line and preparing for a new path and ready to lure a new way." This new path may involve showcasing their individuality and personalities, as well as their skills as members of the group.
Upcoming Military Service
As the group members approach military age, they will soon be taking a break from their group activities to serve their country. Before they go their separate ways, they want to focus on producing music that represents them as a group and as individuals. As Hoshi, one of the group members, explained, "We would like to show more of our individuality, the personalities and skills of the members, so that we can represent ourselves as better seventeen than better if the time and we come together again."
Ticket Sales
Fans of the group can purchase tickets to their concerts starting on August 5th, with the official fan club pre-sale taking place from 3 p.m. to 9:59 p.m. local time. Members of the fan club can register on the Hybe-owned fan platform WEVERSE. General ticket sales will begin on August 6th at 3 p.m. local time.
