Introduction to the Incident

The unpublished Beyoncé music was reportedly stolen from her choreographer and one of her dancers from her rental car less than 48 hours before the start of her Cowboy Carter shows in Atlanta.

Details of the Theft

On Monday, an arrest warrant against an unknown suspect was enacted, which was allegedly involved in breaking into the rental car on July 8. The thieves made off with unpublished music, film material, plans for the live show, and previous and upcoming set lists. According to WSB TV Atlanta, the choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue reported that the thieves also took clothes, designer sunglasses, laptops, and a few Airpods Max headphones.

Investigation and Recovery Efforts

The police were led to an unknown location after the "Find My" function was used to ping the headphones and pursue several leads. The incident report states that "Mr. Grant advised that he also had some personal sensitive information for the musician Beyoncé." He advised that he was her choreographer and Mr. Diandre Blue for her and her hard drives for her upcoming show in Atlanta.

Reaction from Beyoncé’s Team

A representative of Beyoncé did not react immediately to requests for comment.

Impact on Beyoncé’s Tour

Beyoncé is approaching the finish line of her “Cowboy Carter” tour with plans to wrap her four Atlanta shows. Next, she is set to appear in Las Vegas for two nights, which will close the hike that initially started on August 28th in Los Angeles.
