Kanye West Faces New Allegations
Kanye "Ye" West is facing new accusations of sexual battery and sex trafficking from his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta. Pisciotta worked for West from 2021 to 2024, first as an A&R representative and then as his personal assistant. She has added a supplement to a previously submitted lawsuit, claiming that she was sexually assaulted during a studio session.
Background of the Allegations
The alleged incident occurred during the recording sessions for West’s album, which was compiled by Sean "Diddy" Combs. Although Combs was present at the session, he is not a named party in the lawsuit. Pisciotta claims that West "orally raped" her without her consent and forced her to engage in sexual acts with false promises of career advancement.
Details of the Allegations
The complaint states that West attempted to vaginally penetrate Pisciotta with his fingers on one occasion and orally raped her without her consent on another occasion. Both incidents allegedly occurred during Pisciotta’s employment. The complaint also alleges that West subjected her to obscene comments about her body, demanded that she wear tight-fitting clothing, and kept her regularly. Additionally, it is claimed that he forced her to perform sexual acts with other women, send him sexual pictures, and repeatedly demanded that she join his sexual encounters.
Sex Trafficking Allegations
Pisciotta, a single mother and model, also claims that West "offered someone the opportunity" to have sex with her in exchange for allowing him to have sex with his partner. The alleged sex trafficking occurred because West "recruited and prompted" Pisciotta by making fraudulent promises of career advancement in exchange for her submission to his alleged sexual overtures. The lawsuit claims that compliance with West’s wishes was met with serious consequences, including public humiliation, online harassment, termination, retaliation, and violence.
Response from West’s Team
When the original lawsuit was filed in 2024, West’s lawyers claimed that the rapper and fashion mogul would take legal action against Pisciotta. At the time, West’s representative stated that Pisciotta had offered West sex on his birthday, sent him unwanted nude pictures, and engaged in sexual behavior during business hours. The representative also claimed that Pisciotta had used sexual coercion to obtain money, material objects, and plastic surgery. However, West’s team has not yet responded to the latest allegations in Pisciotta’s second amended complaint.
