Young Noble’s Passing

Young Noble, a member of the rap group Outlawz, which was founded by the legendary Tupac Shakur, has passed away at the age of 47. The news of his death was confirmed by his fellow Outlawz member, Edi Mean, who took to Instagram to share the devastating news.

Confirmation of Death

Edi Mean expressed his shock and grief on Instagram, stating that Young Noble had taken his own life. He wrote, "Today I have some of the worst and unexpected news that I can imagine. My brother and partner took his life this morning." Mean also requested that fans give the family and himself time to process this loss, highlighting the importance of mental health and the struggles that many people face.

Tribute to Young Noble

The official Instagram account of Tupac Shakur, which is managed by his estate, also posted about Young Noble’s passing, sharing Edi Mean’s tribute to his fellow group member. Young Noble, whose real name was Rufus Lee Cooper III, was born in Sierra Madre, California, and later moved to New Jersey, where he met future Outlawz members Hussein Fatal and Yaki Kadafi.

Career and Legacy

Young Noble’s music career began when he met Tupac Shakur in California, and he made his debut on Shakur’s posthumous album, "The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory." He was featured on several tracks, including "Bomb First (My Second Reply)," "Hail Mary," "Life of an Outlaw," and "Tradin War Stories." Young Noble went on to release his own solo albums, including "Noble Justice" in 2002, "Son of God" in 2012, "Powerful" in 2016, and "3 Eye View" in 2019.

Mental Health Awareness

Edi Mean’s post about Young Noble’s passing also highlighted the importance of mental health awareness, stating that "mental illnesses are a real struggle that so many are dealing with." He encouraged fans to "check on your people" and to prioritize their mental well-being. Young Noble’s death serves as a reminder of the importance of seeking help and supporting those who may be struggling with mental health issues.
