On Sunday, Cameron’s co-stars paid tribute to the late actor, who created the role of Cruella de Vil’s son Carlos in the original Fantasy Movie Musical in 2015. Sofia Carson took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes photo, writing "Our angel forever." Booboo Stewart also shared the same photo in his Instagram story.

A family representative released a statement at the time of his death, saying, "We report with a deeply heavy heart that we lost Cameron this morning. He died due to a seizure in his sleep that was due to a continued medical illness for which he was treated." The family asked for privacy during this difficult time, mourning the loss of their "precious son and brother."
The Cameron Boyce Foundation
In honor of Cameron, his family started the Cameron Boyce Foundation to help cure epilepsy by funding research, education, and awareness campaigns. The foundation continues to work towards a future where no one has to suffer from epilepsy, keeping Cameron’s spirit alive through their efforts.
