Introduction to Victorian Psycho
True Brit Entertainment has acquired the UK and Ireland rights to the US filmmaker Zachary Wigon’s horror thriller, Victorian Psycho, from Anton. The film is set to be shot in Great Britain and Ireland, starting on August 18, and will star actor Makaca Monroe.
The Plot
The story takes place in Victorian England, where an eccentric governess arrives at a remote Gothic manor house. As strange events unfold, it becomes clear that nothing is as it seems. The script was adapted by Virginia Feito from her novel of the same name, which was released earlier this year.

The producers of the film include Dan Kagan for his Traffic banner, who also produced Longleg, and Sebastien Raybaud for Anton and Wigon, in collaboration with Anonymous Content and True Brit Entertainment. The executive producers are Nick Shumaker, Bard Dorros, Virginia Feito, Zygi Kamasa, Katie Holly, and Lisa Kelly.
Financing and Rights
Anton is financing the film entirely and represents international rights. US rights are represented by Anton, UTA Independent Film Group, and CAA Media Finance.
