Neon Acquires New Thriller Film
Neon has acquired the rights to distribute the new thriller film, "A Place in Hell", starring Michelle Williams, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Andrew Scott. The film is directed by Chloe Domont, who previously directed the 2023 Sundance hit, "Fair Play".
Distribution and Financing
Neon will be distributing the film in theaters across the USA and will co-finance the project with MRC and Republic Pictures. Republic Pictures will handle international sales, while T-Street will also be involved in the production.

Director’s Previous Work
Chloe Domont’s previous film, "Fair Play", premiered at Sundance in 2023 and was acquired by Netflix for $20 million. The film starred Phoebe Dynevor and Alden Ehrenreich as a high-flying trading couple who become embroiled in a cutthroat game of cat and mouse.
Acquisition Details
The acquisition deal was negotiated by Alison Cohen, Emily Thomas, and Jeff Deutchman for Neon, and Peter McPartlin for Republic Pictures. The film is expected to be released in theaters soon, although an official release date has not been announced.
