Introduction to The Face of Horror
The good chaos based in Great Britain, led by Mike Goodridge, is preparing to shoot Anna Biller’s supernatural feature film, The Face of Horror, in Prague, Czech Republic, in July. This film boasts a talented cast, including Jonah Hauer-King, Kristine Froseth, Ellie Bamber, Leo Suter, and Bella Heathcote.
Plot and Inspiration
The Face of Horror is set in medieval England and is loosely inspired by the Japanese ghost story Yotsuya Kaidan. The story follows a knight who marries his long-term love, Eleanor, only to become bored with her and instead pursue a wealthy noble woman at court. It isn’t long before Eleanor seeks her bloody revenge.
Production and Cast
Böschung films are handling sales and domestic distribution with WME worldwide. Anna Biller, the US filmmaker behind the 2016 horror film The Love Witch, has written the script for The Face of Horror. Goodridge and James Bowsher are producing the film with Biller, while Jared Sanford serves as executive producer. Sirena Film is servicing the film in the Czech Republic.

Cast Backgrounds
The cast includes talented actors known for their roles in various notable productions. Hauer-King is best known for his role in Disney’s live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, while Froseth is recognized for her work in the AppleTV+ series The Buccaneers. Bamber will be seen playing Kate Moss in the upcoming biopic Moss, and Suter and Heathcote have made their names in the Netflix series Viking: Valhalla and Pieces of Her, respectively.
