Cardi B Performs at Cannes Event

Cardi B brought high energy to the Cannes event hosted by Spotify on Wednesday, where she performed her upcoming single "Outside" as part of a mini concert. The song, produced by Charlie Heat and Heymicki, is set to be officially released on June 20.

A Glimpse into "Outside"

In "Outside", Cardi B raps, "If I don’t shit these NS, please believe me. You fuck something, this NS too easy/for nothing, low, dirty dogs, I am convinced/If you see your mom next time, tell her how she increases a bitch." Many fans believe the song is about her estranged husband Offset, whom she has been feuding with on social media for weeks.

Cardi B’s Emotional Performance

During her performance, Cardi B mentioned that she was having a bad day, saying, "I don’t know if I’m sleepy or hungry, but there’s always tomorrow." Despite her tough day, she delivered an energetic performance, which included her hit songs.

Setlist and First Time in Cannes

The performance was Cardi B’s first time in Cannes, and she seemed to enjoy the beautiful city. She opened her set with "Bongos", a song she collaborated on with Megan Thee Stallion, and also performed "Bodak Yellow", "I Like It", "Money", "Up", and her smash hit with Megan, "WAP". Before the show, she encouraged the crowd, saying, "It’s a great time, it’s a beautiful place, so let’s make some nice music. Let’s go!"

Upcoming Album

In recent weeks, Cardi B has announced that she is working on her second album, her first since "Invasion of Privacy" in 2018. She has also informed her online followers that the finished LP is already in the hands of her label, Atlantic Records. Before "Outside", Cardi B released solo singles "Hot Shit (Miami)" and "Like What". Fans are eagerly awaiting her new album, which is expected to drop soon.
