Kick-Off of Gay Pride Month

Gay Pride Month has officially started in Los Angeles with the exciting Weho Pride celebrations. The event, which took place from May 31 to June 1, marked the beginning of a month-long celebration of diversity and inclusivity.

Weho Pride Weekend Celebrations

The weekend was filled with amazing performances at the Sutloud Music Festival, featuring renowned artists such as Maren Morris, Lizzo, Paris Hilton, Kim Petras, Rebecca Black, and Frankie Grande. The event was a huge success, attracting a large crowd of people from all over the city.

Pride Parade Highlights

The Pride Parade was another highlight of the weekend, with Cara Delevingne serving as a Guardian icon. She was joined by other icons, including Nava Mau, former NFL player Chris Kluwe, and Pari Kim, star of “Love on the Spectrum”. The parade was a vibrant display of color and creativity, with participants showing off their unique styles and personalities.

Upcoming Events: World Pride in Washington, DC

Looking ahead to the next weekend, Washington, DC, is set to host World Pride on June 6 and 7. The event will feature a star-studded lineup, including Grand Marshals Laverne Cox, Reneé Rapp, and Deacon Maccubbin, who organized the first Pride event in Washington, DC, back in 1975. Other performers will include Lopez, Cynthia Erivo, RuPaul, Troye Sivan, Kim Petras, Tinashe, Zedd, and many more.

Celebrating Diversity and Inclusivity

Throughout the month, there will be plenty of opportunities to celebrate diversity and inclusivity. From parades and festivals to concerts and rallies, there’s something for everyone. Take a look at the best celebrity Pride photos from this year’s events and stay tuned for updates throughout the month.
