Lanez is currently serving a 10-year sentence for shooting hip-hop star Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. The two had a heated argument in a car in front of a Hollywood Hills party, which ended with Lanez shooting at Megan’s feet and wounding her. Lanez was charged in 2020, convicted in 2022, and sentenced in August 2023.
