Crash on the Sunset Strip
A dump truck crashed into the legendary music venue Whiskey a Go Go on the Sunset Strip on Friday. The truck collided with a power line and several other vehicles, including a post office truck, before hitting the West Hollywood building.
The Aftermath of the Crash
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department closed Sunset Boulevard and Clark Street following the crash, and power was shut off in the area. The department issued an alert stating, "Due to the traffic collision, a certain performance is affected and the power supply is triggered in some parts of the area. The crews are currently on site and are working on restoring power."
Cancelled Show
A show scheduled for Friday evening at Whiskey a Go Go, featuring Boy Hits Car, Barefoot in the Bathroom, and Gearheart, was cancelled due to the incident. The venue is a popular spot for music lovers, having hosted many famous acts over the years.

According to Desmond Shaw from Kcal News, the dump truck "landed outside of control on Clark Street in the rear part of Whiskey a Go Go, taking out six different cars." Fortunately, there were no serious injuries reported due to the crash.
