60th ACM Awards Winners
The 60th ACM Awards took place at the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas, on Thursday evening, with Lainey Wilson, Ella Langley, and Riley Green being among the biggest winners. Chris Stapleton won Male Artist of the Year, while Lainey Wilson took home the awards for Artist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.
Top Winners
Lainey Wilson, who won Entertainer of the Year last year, also won Album of the Year for "Whirlwind" and Artist Songwriter of the Year. The award for Song of the Year, presented by Lionel Richie, went to Cody Johnson for "Dirt Cheap". Host Reba McEntire presented the award for Single of the Year to Ella Langley and Riley Green for "You Look Like You Love Me". Old Dominion was named Group of the Year, and Brooks & Dunn won Duo of the Year.
Notable Winners
Ella Langley came into the night with the most nominations, eight, and had already been announced as the New Artist of the Year in April. Her breakout hit "You Look Like You Love Me" with Riley Green won Visual Media of the Year over the weekend. Zach Bryan was named New Male Artist of the Year in April, while Red Clay Strays won Best New Duo or Group of the Year.
Performances
The night was filled with performances by stars, including Reba McEntire, Clint Black, Wynona Judd, LeAnn Rimes, Sugarland, and Dan + Shay, as well as a collaboration between Rascal Flatts and the Backstreet Boys. Other performers included Stapleton, Alan Jackson, Eric Church, Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini, LeAnn Rimes, and Wilson.
Special Awards
Alan Jackson, the first recipient of the ACM Alan Jackson Lifetime Achievement Award, was honored during the ceremony. Keith Urban also received the ACM Triple Crown Award.
