This Year’s Theme: "Superfine: Tailoring of the Black Style"
The 2025 exhibition is inspired by the book by Monica L. Miller, "Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity". To adhere to the topic of the evening, guests and celebrity stylists have interpreted the associated dress code: "tailored for them". This year’s co-chairs include Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, and Pharrell Williams, alongside Vogue’s Anna Wintour and Honorary Chairman LeBron James. However, James announced that he would miss the Met Gala due to a knee injury.

With the likes of Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, and Sydney Sweeney in attendance, the fashion is sure to be stunning.
