Barbra Streisand’s latest album, The Secret of Life: Partner, Volume Two, is officially on the way. The eight-time Grammy Award winner announced her 37th album, which will feature a selection of 11 duets with superstars from the music industry.

The album will include duets with renowned artists such as Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Sting, Hozier, Sam Smith, Seal, Josh Groban, Tim McGraw, Mariah Carey, and Ariana Grande. The Secret of Life: Partner, Volume Two is an impressive follow-up to Streisand’s 2014 album Partners and is set to be released on June 27th.
Streisand’s Inspiration and Collaborations
Streisand expressed her love for singing duets with talented artists, stating that they inspire her in unique and different ways, making her time in the studio a joy. First Single and Collaboration with Hozier
The first single from the album, "The First Time I Saw Your Face," was released on Wednesday in collaboration with Hozier. Hozier described the experience as a great honor, saying, "It was a wonderful and welcome surprise." He praised Streisand, calling her one of the most constant and iconic singers of our time, and expressed his admiration for her voice, talent, charisma, and vision.
Tribute to Roberta Flack’s Legacy
Hozier also paid tribute to Roberta Flack’s legacy, saying that "The First Time I Saw Your Face" is one of the most beautiful love songs ever written. He hoped that the duet with Streisand would offer a gesture of respect for Flack’s incredible legacy.
