New Sales Company 193 Joins the Scene

Patrick Wachsberger’s new sales company, 193, has acquired international rights to Lynne Ramsay’s competition selection, Die, My Love, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson. This move marks a significant addition to 193’s sales sheet in Cannes.

Film Overview

Die, My Love tells the story of a passionate woman living in a rural outpost who struggles with psychosis. The film boasts a talented cast, including Lakeith Stanfield, Sissy Spacek, and Nick Nolte. The script, written by Ramsay and Enda Walsh, is an adaptation of Argentine writer Ariana Harwicz’s book, which explores themes of marriage, motherhood, and loneliness in rural France.

Production Team

The film is produced by Jennifer Lawrence and her business partner, Justine Ciarrocchi, along with Andrea Calderwood, Martin Scorsese, and others. Rick Yorn from LBI represents the US rights. With a talented cast and crew, Die, My Love is expected to generate significant buzz in the film industry.

Director’s Background

Lynne Ramsay has a history of showcasing her work in competition, including You Were Never Really Here in 2017, for which she received a script award. Her previous films, such as We Need to Talk About Kevin and Ratcatcher, have also gained critical acclaim.

193 Sales Company

193, founded by Wachsberger and Legendary Entertainment, has already made a significant impact in the industry. The company has acquired the completed remake of The Toxic Avenger, directed by Macon Blair and starring Peter Dinklage. Wachsberger’s team includes Sara Ghorra as VP of Sales and Tyler Knell as VP of Creative Affairs, along with previously announced EPP, Sales Wendy Reeds.

Conclusion

With the acquisition of Die, My Love, 193 has solidified its position in the film industry. The company’s growing team and impressive lineup of films, including the upcoming release of The Toxic Avenger, make it a force to be reckoned with in the world of cinema.
