Introduction to the Event

Monday is mostly a travel day, with the opening concert taking place the evening before. This will be accompanied by the only major panel event entitled “Open Forum: What Year 2050 Do We Want?”

Panel Event Speakers

Speakers include Distyl AI co-founder, WEF executive director, and Agnes Callamard, secretary general of Amnesty International.

Tuesday’s Schedule

Notable speakers on Tuesday include French President, U.S. Treasury Secretary, and Chinese Republic Vice Premier.

Wednesday’s Highlights

America will be in the spotlight on Wednesday when both US President and Argentina’s President speak about the event. Meanwhile, panels will raise questions about, among other things, whether China’s economy is "fully developed" and whether Russia can "sustain a wartime economy." Spanish Prime Minister could leave a gap in Wednesday’s schedule given the Cordoba train crash.

Thursday’s Schedule

Syrian President’s speech to the forum on Thursday also appears doubtful, given the political situation in his country, with the announcement of a new ceasefire agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces only on Sunday. But on this day, Israel’s President, Finland’s head of state, and German Chancellor are scheduled to speak.

Friday’s Highlights

The highlight on Friday, shortly before the final statement scheduled for 12 p.m. local time, is an hour-long look at the “Global Economic Outlook”. Participants in this session include European Central Bank President and International Monetary Fund Managing Director.
