A trailer has been released for a groundbreaking documentary about King Charles’ lifelong quest to balance nature and humanity. The documentary, titled Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, will arrive on Prime Video on February 6th.
Documentary Overview
The 90-minute documentary is narrated by Oscar winner Kate Winslet and aims to encourage new audiences to embrace the monarch’s environmental philosophy. The film was shot on four continents and includes 75 years of archive footage, billed as a "sumptuous cinematic experience" that will give viewers "a sense of excitement and motivation to reintegrate nature into everything we do."
The King’s Vision
In the trailer, the king says: "We are nature itself. We are a part of it, not separate from it." He continues to urge the world to “follow harmony” to ensure the planet can support as many people, adding, "It’s unlikely there is anywhere else." The king emphasizes the importance of putting nature back at the center, stating, “We have to put nature back at the center.”
The Documentary’s Story
The documentary tells the story of how the King, as Prince of Wales, was an early adopter of environmental protection and championed the science behind biodiversity loss, deforestation, and climate change long before these issues became mainstream. The film will also showcase the life-changing work of his charity, The King’s Foundation.
Production and Release
The documentary, directed by Nicolas Brown, was produced by Passion Planet in association with The King’s Foundation for Amazon MGM Studios. To mark the trailer and release date, a new photo of the royal has been released, taken during filming at Dumfries House in Scotland – the foundation’s headquarters.
