Dua Lipa’s Sold-Out Show in Inglewood

Dua Lipa brought fans of all ages to Inglewood to her sold-out show on Sunday in the Kia Forum. The 30-year-old pop star’s "Radical Optimism" tour was a striking, sparkling, and almost unusual affair. Lipa proved that she was on her game and provided an impressive series of pop radio hits in addition to mild B-sides. She used the great stage in the arena and made the arena feel like an intimate show.

The Best Moments from the Night

The show on Sunday was the second of four sold-out performances at the fundamental event location in LA. Lipa is scheduled to perform on Monday evening before ending the last two shows on Tuesday and Wednesday. Here are some of the best moments from the night:

The Pop Princess of the People

While Lipa’s tour is undoubtedly one of the best pop shows this year in the city, the experience was reinforced ten times thanks to the lot of loyal supporters. It was refreshing to see a real variety of participants that ranged from young girls with their parents to groups of 20 and 30-year-olds to middle-aged couples. Despite the demographic differences of the crowd, almost all participants had one thing in common – they held on to every word of Lipa. Her larger radio hits – "Physically" and "Floating" among them – let the crowd dance on their feet.

An Impressive Production

Lipa and her team certainly did not reinvent the wheel with its two-stage main stage and its circular B level, but it used every inch of it. With her latest publication, the night on the topic "Night Off The ‘Radical Optimism’" – the lights went down and the stage turned into an ocean of crashing waves. Later at night, Lipa sang around a literal fire ring and was raised in the air to croon a ballad over the crowd. One of the best ways to hire the musician about her non-stop show when they switched their backup dancers or the screens to the next level, even if they mixed to change one of their outfit changes.

The Perfect Set of Outfits

Lipa can undoubtedly make a simple T-shirt look chic, but her large selection of costumes on the show has made every section much more glamorous. The glitz and glam were not only superficial, but sometimes also practical. While Lipa was lifted in the air, she put on a long fur coat. The touch made the ballad over too dramatic, but it also served for a real purpose – and hid the seat belt that the singer had to wear. The little touch made it that the logistics, to fly over the crowd, did not take away from the big moment of the night.

Upcoming Shows

The "Radical Optimism" tour of Dua Lipa continues on October 7th and 8th in the KIA Forum. Both nights are sold out.
