Introduction to Indian Creatives in London

Indian creative people have London in mind, and this is evident in their latest endeavors. One such example is Rahul Mishra, a renowned Indian designer who has made a mark in the fashion world.

Rahul Mishra’s Connection to London

Rahul Mishra, the first Indian designer to join the official calendar of the Paris Couture Week, is preparing to organize a Diwali celebration in cooperation with the Scottish whiskey brand Johnnie Walker Blue Label on October 15 in London. This event showcases the strong connection between Indian creatives and the city of London.

Expanding into the London Market

Mishra is also having active discussions with potential London specialist dealers and is exploring the possibility of opening an independent shop. When asked about his plans, Mishra stated, "London has always been our goal." He further added, "We are checking how best to get in [the market] in a more permanent way."

Building Relationships in London

In the meantime, Mishra’s dialogue with Great Britain continues through friends, customers, and silent appointments that occasionally appear at celebrations like the upcoming Diwali event. This highlights the efforts of Indian creatives to build strong relationships with the London market and establish a permanent presence in the city.
