It’s officially time for the creepy season, and to celebrate, Collider is inviting readers to a special screening of the latest horror film, Bone Lake. The movie was premiered at last year’s Fantastic Fest, where it received fantastic reviews, with a current Rotten Tomatoes score of 96%.
The Plot of Bone Lake
In Bone Lake, written by Joshua Friedlander, Sage and Diego, played by Maddie Hasson and Marco Pigossi, book a remote villa on the lake for a mini-vacation to reconnect. However, upon arrival, they discover that the Airbnb has been booked twice. They hesitantly agree to keep their reservation and share the property with the mysterious Cin, played by Andra Nechita, and her partner, played by Alex Roe. What starts as an erotic dream weekend takes a fatal turn, bringing buried secrets to the surface and igniting a brutal struggle for survival.
Screening Details
The advanced screening of Bone Lake will take place at AMC Burbank on Thursday, October 2, at 6:30 p.m. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director, Mercedes Bryce Morgan, moderated by Perri.
