Introduction to the Event

The Recording Academy and CBS have come together to celebrate the nine-time Grammy Prize winner Earth, Wind & Fire with an unforgettable music event. Appropriately hosted on the 21st night in September, the event is broadcast live from the Hollywood Bowl on TV.

Streaming the Event

Since the music event is broadcast on CBS, cable cutters can stream live on any live TV streaming service that bears the network, including DirectV, Fubo, and Hulu + Live TV. The event will also be available on Paramount+ Premium. While Paramount+ Essential subscribers cannot watch the special live, they will be able to access it on the following day, September 22.

Performers and Guests

The legendary band will appear together with the La Philharmonic and invite special guests on stage, including Stevie Wonder, Jonas Brothers, Jon Batiste, and Janelle Monáe. This is the first of two Grammy Specials in the Hollywood Bowl, with the second featuring Cyndi Lauper on October 5.

Streaming Options

Selected streamers offer free trials and discounts with a limited time, which means that the audience can catch the event occupied with stars for free.

DirectV

CBS is included in one of the Signature packages from DirectV: Entertainment, Choice, Ultimate, or Premier. DirectV also offers a five-day free trial version for its streaming service. Plans start at $29.99 per month.

Fubo

Check out CBS with a subscription to Fubo that offers a seven-day free trial version for new subscribers. After the trial, plans start at $45.99 for the first month and $55.99 per month.

Paramount+

While Paramount+ packages start at $7.99 per month (or $59.99 per year) for the ad-supported Essential plan, subscribers need the Premium plan for Livestream for $12.99 per month (or $119.99 per year). It includes a seven-day free trial version and is free of ads, with the exception of live TV and some shows.

Hulu + Live TV

Check out CBS for free with a three-day trial version of Hulu+ Live TV, which is bundled with Disney+ and ESPN+, from $82.99 per month.

Conclusion

The event promises to be an unforgettable celebration of music, with a legendary band and special guests. With various streaming options available, including free trials and discounts, audiences can catch the event for free or at an affordable price.
