Introduction to Mohamed Nour’s Latest Album

The Egyptian artist Mohamed Nour has recently released a new lyrical album titled "Warry", which features six new songs in the Egyptian accent. In a dialogue with "Al-Sharq al-Awsat", Nour confirmed that the songs in his album were carefully selected from a pool of 30 songs to cater to all tastes.

The Making of the Album

Nour revealed that working on his last album took a whole year, during which time he and his team worked on around 30 songs. However, they only selected 6 songs to be included in the final list, with a focus on ensuring that each song differed from the others. This was done to create an album that contains a variety of songs that cater to different tastes.

Collaboration with Khadija Moaz

Nour’s recent collaboration with Saudi artist Khadija Moaz in the song "My Life" was a successful experience. He praised Khadija’s unique voice and expressed his enthusiasm for working with her again in the future. The song’s success can be attributed to the fact that it features a double spirit, with both artists bringing their own style to the table.

Upcoming Projects

Nour is set to release a new song titled "My Love" in collaboration with Moroccan artist Jannat. The song is a romantic ballad that requires a female voice to complement Nour’s vocals. He praised Jannat’s voice, saying that it has the perfect balance of strength and softness.

Musical Style and Taste

Nour expressed his opinion on the phenomenon of rap songs and popular festivals, stating that the evaluation of musical works is relative and depends on the listener’s taste. He believes that music cannot be described as bad or good, as it is a matter of personal preference. Nour also revealed that he is preparing for a new film project, a comedy that will feature a large number of guest stars.

Lyrical Publications and Albums

The current summer season has seen an intense release of lyrical publications and albums. Nour views this as a positive phenomenon that enriches the lyrical scene, providing the audience with a diverse range of songs to listen to. He also commented on the departure of music distributor Nader Hamdi from the "Wama" team, stating that there are no differences and that Nader continues to work on new projects.

Cinematic Projects and Personal Life

Nour is set to integrate his music into his upcoming cinematic projects, as he believes that songs can contribute to the dramatic dimension of a film. He also spoke about his sons, revealing that his son Omar has started his first steps in acting, while his other son practices football. Nour praised the talent of his colleague Ahmed Fahmy, saying that he is a skilled actor who can switch between different roles with ease.
