Prime Video Explores the Moonies Cult

The Amazon streamer, Prime Video UK, has acquired a documentary that delves into the world of the Moonies cult, a controversial group known for its mass weddings. The documentary, titled "The Moonies: Married to the Cult," was produced by Story Films and All3Media International. This film aims to uncover the darker side of the cult, which was founded by the charismatic Reverend Moon in South Korea.

Uncovering the Truth

The documentary features interviews with insiders, including Sam Park, the illegitimate son of Reverend Moon. Park speaks publicly for the first time about his experiences with the cult, including mass weddings, sex ceremonies, and the complexities of his relationship with the man he believes to be his father. Other participants share their stories of escape and kidnapping, providing a glimpse into the inner workings of the cult.

Channel+ Launches Talent Unit

In other news, Canal+ has promoted Agnès Jude to lead a new talent unit. Jude, a veteran of the French media giant, will be responsible for "greeting, supporting, and promoting talents," both established and new. She will report to Jean-Marc Juramie, deputy managing director of Canal+ France, who oversees programs and channels.

Focusing on Talent Development

Jude has been with Canal+ for over 20 years and will continue to play a key role in her new position. The talent unit will focus on nurturing and supporting talents, providing them with the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. This move is seen as a strategic step by Canal+ to invest in the development of new and existing talent, and to strengthen its position in the industry.
