Introduction to Rain’s 2025 Tour

K-POP artist Rain is set to return to the North American audience with his 2025 Rain Tour [Still Raining: Encore], a three-city run that promises to deliver his characteristic performance and a catalog of hits spanning over two decades.

Tour Dates and Locations

The tour, managed by Infinite Prospects Entertainment, the same company behind G-Dragon’s US tour and Rain’s former North American shows, begins on November 23 in New York. It will then move to Los Angeles on November 26 and conclude in Atlanta. This tour follows Rain’s successful North American comeback in 2023, which included sold-out shows in Atlantic City and Las Vegas.

What to Expect from the 2025 Shows

Fans attending the 2025 shows can expect a setlist that reflects Rain’s recent tour stops across Asia. The setlist will include a mix of his classic songs, such as "It’s Rainism" and "Rainism," as well as covers of contemporary hits from acts like Newjeans and Bruno Mars. This blend of old and new is expected to cater to a wide range of fans, from those who have followed Rain since his debut to newer fans who have discovered his music more recently.

Rain’s Career Highlights

Born Jung Ji-Hoon, Rain’s career began in 2002 with the release of "Bad Guy." He achieved commercial success with his 2004 album "It’s Raining," which sold over one million copies. His leading role in the hit drama "Full House" further established his popularity throughout Asia. In 2006, Rain made history by selling out shows at Madison Square Garden and in Las Vegas, paving the way for K-POP in the US market.

Post-Military Service and Continued Relevance

After completing his military service in 2012, Rain continued to act and perform. He appeared in films like "Ninja Assassin" and collaborated with Park Jinyoung (Jy Park) on the single "Switch to Me" in 2020, demonstrating his continued relevance across different generations of fans.

Rain’s Influence on K-POP

Rain is viewed as a driving force behind the global inclusion of K-Pop and is considered one of the most influential personalities in the Hallyu wave. The Hallyu wave introduced Korean pop culture to a global audience, and Rain’s contributions have been significant in this movement. His upcoming tour is expected to not only entertain but also further cement his legacy as a K-POP icon.
