KPOP Demon Hunter Achieves Milestone

The soundtrack for KPOP Demon Hunter has reached a new milestone, almost three months after its publication on the Billboard 200 diagram. The soundtrack, which was originally published in June with a Deluxe version published on September 5, hit number 1 on the album chart on Sunday, according to Billboard, after being in second place in the diagram.

Success on the Billboard Charts

The leadership of the film, "Golden", has taken first place on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts. Additionally, three more songs from the film are in the hot 100 top 10, showcasing the soundtrack’s immense popularity.

MTV Video Music Awards

Ejae, Rei Ami, and Audrey Nuna, who voice the characters of Rumi, Zoey, and Mira in the hit Netflix and Sony animated film KPOP Demon Hunter, presented Sabrina Carpenter with the album of the Year Award for "Short ‘n sweet" at the MTV Video Music Awards last week. Ejae expressed the trio’s excitement, saying "the past few months have been crazy and astonishing, such an incredible journey for us" when they took the stage.

Netflix’s Most Popular Title

The animated film has become Netflix’s most popular title of all time, telling the adventure of Huntrix, a K-Pop girls’ group that consists of three members who happen to fight against monsters from the underworld. The project was a surprise hit for the streamer, and its soundtrack has spent several weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 charts. A continuation film is reportedly in discussions at Netflix and Sony Animation, as confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter.
