Introduction to New Apple Products

Apple presented its latest generation of iPhones, AirPods, and Watch on Tuesday at the starting event of the Technology Company, which took place annually at its headquarters in Cupertino, California.

iPhone 17

The iPhone 17 has a larger 6.3-inch display and contains the new A19 chip to operate Apple’s AI functions. The device’s front camera has also been updated to provide a wider field of vision and a new sensor with which users can take landscape photos without turning the phone. The new iPhones are the first to have been published since President Donald Trump has returned to the White House and a blocking fire from tariffs, his administration is an attempt to bring the production of overseas back to the USA – a crusade that Apple CEO Tim Cook has controlled in the hot seat.

Tariffs and Production

The technology giant has undertaken a number of steps to alleviate the effects of Mr. Trump’s steep tariffs in China. This includes the ramp of iPhone production in India, where the entire iPhone 17 series was produced. Pricing for iPhone 17 – available in lavender, fog blue, sage, white, and black as well as 256 GB and 512 GB of storage capacities – starts at $799. This defies expectations that consumers would have to pay 45% more or higher for the devices due to tariffs.

iPhone Air

Apple also published the iPhone Air, the thinnest and brightest model of all time, according to the company. The iPhone Air storage is available in Space Black, Cloud White, Light Gold, and Sky Blue and starts at 256 GB with 512 GB and 1-TB options. The pricing for the iPhone Air begins at $999. All new iPhone models have improved camera functions with which users can take sharper photos and record more stable videos.

AirPods Pro 3

The AirPods Pro 3, the latest in the line-up, has improved noise suppression functions and a live translation function that Apple AI operates. With this new functionality, consumers can use the devices to hear a speaker in a language and receive an English-language translation in real-time. The new AirPods have been redesigned at $249 for the ears of the carriers, according to the company.

Apple Watch 11

Another new publication, the Apple Watch 11, has health-related components that its predecessors do not have, such as the ability to draw users’ attention to the signs of high blood pressure, a main cause of heart attacks that, according to Apple’s announcement, concerns 1.3 billion adults worldwide. In addition to previously existing functions such as heart rate monitoring and sleeping tracking, the Apple Watch 11 also contains a new function for the Sleep score and the notification of sleep apnea.

Pricing and Upgrade Opportunities

Apple has calculated $800 for its basic iPhone and $1,200 for its top offer since 2020. However, some analysts believe that the company could increase prices for some of the new models by 50 to 100 US dollars. "We estimate about 315 million iPhone users of 1.5 billion users worldwide have not upgraded their phones in over four years and spoke to an upgrade opportunity on the horizon [Apple]," Wedbush Tech Analyst Dan Ives said in a report.
