Introduction to Guillermo del Toro’s Autumn Releases

Guillermo del Toro is set to make a significant impact this autumn, with several projects and events showcasing his work. His adaptation of Frankenstein has been receiving standing ovations at film festivals.

Book Release: The Art & Making of Frankenstein

This autumn, Insight Editions will publish The Art & Making of Frankenstein: Written and Directed by Guillermo del Toro, the official companion book to del Toro’s Frankenstein film. The book offers a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process and craftsmanship that brought Mary Shelley’s Gothic classic to life on screen.

Behind-the-Scenes Insights

The book features contributions from the film’s cast, including Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth, and Christoph Waltz. It also showcases the work of the craftsmen behind the film, including concept art, period-specific props, lush locations, and beautiful costumes.

Special Features and Release Details

The book contains a foreword by del Toro and an introduction by Oscar Isaac, who plays Victor Frankenstein. The hardcover edition will be available for purchase on October 28, retailing at $75.00. Two limited collector’s editions, Frankenstein: Portfolio Edition and Frankenstein: Artefact Edition, will be released later in the year.
