Introduction to the Incident

Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Hill, has recently spoken out after his arrest last week. He was seen on video roaming through Ventura Boulevard in Studio City, which led to his arrest. The rapper has now been released from prison after being found not guilty of four crimes.

Statement from Prison

In an Instagram story on Tuesday, Lil Nas X shared his first statement since the arrest. He reassured his fans, saying, "Your girl will be okay, you will be. It will be okay. Shit, that was damn terrible. It was terrifying. It was a terrible last four days, but your girl will be fine." This statement came just a day after his release from prison.

The Arrest and Charges

The incident occurred early in the morning last week when Lil Nas X was caught on video wearing only underwear and boots. He allegedly interacted with the police and was taken to the hospital for a suspected drug overdose before being transferred to the Valley prison in Van Nuys. The rapper spent several days in prison before being officially charged on Monday with four crimes, including battery and resistance to law enforcement.

Court Proceedings and Outcome

During his indictment on Monday, Lil Nas X’s legal team emphasized that he had no prior criminal history or record of violence. They also stated that it was too early to determine if drugs played a role in the incident. The judge ordered Hill to enroll in a drug treatment program. His bail was set at $75,000.

Response from Lil Nas X’s Team

Lil Nas X’s defender, Drew Findling, spoke to reporters after the indictment, saying, "In his existence, he has never been in difficulties. We will not allow a small event to change the trajectory of his amazing life." Findling also mentioned that they would examine the incident and do the right thing. Hill’s father also spoke to reporters, stating that his son was "mentally" affected after the arrest but was in a great atmosphere and that they had shed tears together.

Conclusion and Support

Hill’s father asked for prayers for his son, saying, "God is good all the time. Keep him in your prayers." The incident has sparked concern among fans, but with Lil Nas X’s release and statement, it seems that he is on the path to recovery and moving forward from the experience.
