Introduction to Pet Owners’ Quirks
The best friend of man! Since generative AI becomes more everyday, people ask the tool to do everything, from grocery lists to writing love poems, and also follow ridiculous social media trends. Most recently, pet owners on Tiktok searched for Chatgpt to strangely transform their dogs into humans.
The Trend of Anthropomorphism
As bizarre as the trend is, the eccentricity of animal owners does not stop here. A current survey examined how deep people’s lives are influenced by their pets, and some people are very invested in their furry friends. Of the respondents who were familiar with the anthropomorphic trend, 31% admitted that they would date the human version of their pets.
Demographic Differences
Oddly enough, millennials, gen Xers, and baby boomers were significantly more common to consider dating their pets’ human versions, with millennials in 34% and the older two generations with 33%, while zoomers were far less likely with 24%. However, romance was theoretically in the air for all animal owners.
Pets as "Walking Red Flags"
Almost 40% of animal enthusiasts admitted that their pet would be a "walking red flag" if they were humans. Despite some of the worse characteristics of their furry friends, these animal parents are no longer bound to their animals. In many cases, animal experts believe that this is a side effect of quarantine and the Covid-19 pandemic.
Unwavering Loyalty
In fact, an overwhelming 87% of pet owners would be willing to give up their dream apartment if it were not pet-friendly. Forgot with your pet – old ultra-devoted pet owners are basically married to you. The value of pets for their human supervisors seems to be very high, comparable to regularly spending time with friends and relatives or even being married.
Emotional Support
77% of the pet owners who participated in the survey confirmed that their pet offers better emotional support than their former human partner. Instead of giving her husband a kiss, one pet owner wakes up and gives her dog all of her kisses. It’s the same before they go to sleep at night. It is nothing personal, but as many pet parents claim, there is simply nothing like the affection and loyalty of an animal.
